Flat and Pyramid Newel Caps in Redwood, Ash and Oak
The finishing piece on top of a newel post. Our flat newel caps have a 7mm rebate to fit over the post: full caps for a 90 x 90mm newel and half caps for a 90 x 45mm half newel, in non-primed redwood, ash and oak. Pyramid caps for a 90 x 90mm newel come in white primed and oak.

Redwood caps are supplied non-primed, ready for painting or staining. Ash and oak caps suit a clear oil or lacquer.

What size newel cap do I need?
Our full flat caps and pyramid caps fit a 90 x 90mm newel, and our half caps fit a 90 x 45mm half newel. If your newel is a different size, send us the measurement.
How are newel caps fixed?
The rebate sits over the top of the newel, and the cap is fixed with wood glue.
Can I buy one cap?
Yes. Add as many as you need to your basket.
Do you sell caps in other timbers?
Flat caps come in redwood, ash and oak, and pyramid caps in white primed and oak. Ask us if you need something else.
